Great Opportunity! Growing well-established property management company is seeking an Assistant Property Manager / Bookkeeper that will assist with 5 communities in the Peekskill / Ossining areas.
Responsibilities:
· Assuring compliance in Section 8 and DHRC and other govt. housing programs
· Assisting Property Manager with updating and creating records for accounting and other reports required by the corporate office and the housing departments
· Updating all collection and eviction accounts on a daily basis
· Respond to all field e-mails on a daily basis
· Scan and save all collection and eviction documents
· Provide collection and eviction support to Accounting and Attorney’s
· Maintain multiple site records and files as required
· Perform other related duties as assigned or requested
· Focus on leasing apartments, resident retention and following marketing plans
· Communicate with maintenance , writing up service orders etc.
· Dealing with resident inquiries and complaints
Requirements:

- Collection experience and eviction experience
- Self-starter with excellent organizational, written and verbal skills
- Computer skills required in Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook/Adobe
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills , conflict resolution
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work within a team and effectively communicate with all levels of associates within the organization
- Excellent attention to detail
- Property Management collection and eviction experience and knowledge of Section 8 ,DHRC and other Government Housing programs
