AT&T Sales Planner-Online/Mobile, AdWorks, New York, NY
AT&T AdWorks is rapidly growing in expectation of becoming AT&T's next billion dollar business by building a better approach to advertising sales that utilizes the inherent strengths of the world's largest telecommunications company. AT&T AdWorks is the face to the market for AT&T's newest ad products across IPTV, Mobile, and Online. We are seeking to fill Sales Planner positions, within our sales group, to work directly with assigned Account Executive(s) to coordinate and complete all pre-sales functions. The responsibilities of the sales planner will include but not be limited to:
Responsibilities: • Review and respond to Request For Proposals (RFP's) for assigned region/Account Executives
• Produce all pre-sale documents including presentations, proposals and agency templates for submission
• Obtains necessary approvals from Inventory and Pricing team on all pre-sale proposal/RFP submission materials
• Work with various AdWork groups including marketing, product marketing, research, ad operations and account management to create/generate compelling presentations, proposals, and RFP submissions (ex. proposed media plan, mocks, research materials, case studies, etc)
• Liaison between assigned region/Account Executive and Post-Sale (Account Management and Ad Operations) to ensure proper delivery of campaign paperwork & creative materials as well as accurate campaign setup
• Work with Account Management to troubleshoot live campaigns
• Obtains credit approval for new Agency/Advertiser from Legal and assists Legal with T&C's compliance
• Keep sales team apprised of all key issues, updated and relevant data associated with pre-sales efforts
• Assist in pre-sale pipeline management, reporting and opportunity accuracy in
• Accompany assigned account executives on sales calls/presentations
• Manage and strengthen current proposal templates and presentations decks. Make enhancement recommendations where appropriate
• Weekly meeting with assigned Account Executive and regional management for sales training and to review any questions, issues, ideas they may have on the overall sales process
Qualifications: Requirements: • BA/BS degree
• Minimum of 1-3 years of sales planning or media agency experience
• Experience working at a larger publisher, ad network, mobile vendor or media agency is preferred
• Working knowledge third party research tools e.g. comScore, Quantcast etc
• Ability to work with multiple sales personnel, multiple priorities, and strong analytical mindset and financial understanding
• Customer-first mentality and ability to serve advertisers with differing goals
• Technical understanding including ad serving, tagging, site architecture, and rich media is preferred
• Team player who isn't afraid to roll up his sleeves and be both player and coach
• Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment that is developing and growing quickly
• Desire to pursue an advertising sales career track
• Pre-sales operations exposure, preferably in online and/or mobile media is preferred
• Ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing and persuasively present to a wide variety of audiences.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent numerical, problem-solving and analytical skills
• Proficiency in MS Office, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
