As a result of recent contract growth and expansion in our customer base we have an opening for a Billing/Invoicing and Administrative Support Specialist in our Pittsburgh, Pa. corporate office. 






Summary / Responsibilities - Billing and Administrative Assistant :

 


The primary focus of this position as part of our billing and administrative team is the analysis and reconciliation of customer billing/invoicing, as well as general administrative support functions as needed.  Responsibilities are as follows:



  • Generate customer invoices to correspond with incoming vendor invoices; reconcile with outstanding customer purchase orders on a daily basis through a billing process that involves interfacing with two computer systems.
  • Generate data and analyze reports used to complete this weekly process to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Analyze and resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Assist on administrative assignments and/or projects, often through the use of Microsoft Excel to produce various data reports.
  • General administrative duties as assigned to including but not limited to invoice scanning, filing and ordering of supplies.


 


 



Requirements:




Billing and Administrative Assistant



The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:





  • Minimum 2-3 years experience working with a billing and invoicing and/or accounts payable processes.

  • Strong problem-solving and deductive reasoning skills.

  • Strong detail-orientation with outstanding organizational skills.

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, spreadsheets;  pivot tables preferred)

  • Ability and desire to work as part of a team; flexibility in helping the team to manage a dynamic workload.
