Brokerage Administrative Assistant
The ideal Brokerage Administration Rep. candidate will have advanced knowledge of HTSU, OGA clearances, CFR 19, and Customs Regulations gained by two or more years of Customs Brokerage and Import/Export experience. The candidate will also have three or more years of customer service or general office experience.
Duties include but are not limited to maintaining customer profiles, demonstrating product features, and supporting the business unit achieve and exceed set goals and objectives. Communicate task discrepancies to immediate manager or key stakeholders.
Judgment and independent initiative is required to identify, adapt and apply approaches to solve problems and to interpret policy.
This position requires the ability to manage several accounts, while providing excellent customer service, accurate and timely submission of documentation
Performs quality checks as needed.
Administrative responsibilities include preparation of reports/presentations and analysis using various software packages and databases.
Daily follow up on project task issues which requires the ability to troubleshoot and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing with internal stakeholders and customers.
Establish and maintain client relationships.
All other task as assigned by supervisor and or manager.

Minimum Requirements
At least three years of customer service, general office, or data entry experience
High School diploma or equivalent (College Graduate preferred) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint a must
Ability to clearly demonstrate product features to customers
Team oriented with accurate and rapid data entry skills
Strong attention to detail and proven organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
At least two years of Customs Brokerage or Import/Export experience
Ability to multi-task and operate in an environment with competing deadlines
The ability to project a professional image to the customer and to represent UPS SCS in a positive manner.
OTHER CRITERIA:
Employer will not sponsor visas for position.
