CAFM Specialist

Duties and Responsibilities: Your responsibilities will include collecting property data, updating and incorporating changes with AutoCAD in existing drawings, and providing overall space planning support. Adding poly-lines to drawings. Integrating CAD and CAFM data into the ARCHIBUS CAFM system. Additional drafting, plotting, and archiving tasks may be assigned on an as-needed basis.
Qualifications: Experience and Qualifications: - Ability to use latest versions of AutoCAD and ARCHIBUS CAD Overlay.
- Understanding of basic ARCHIBUS FM table schema as required for data entry and migration. Ability to apply QC and industry best practices to all data development activities.
- Ability to create AEC and BOMA compliant architectural floor plans
- Ability to publish to ARCHIBUS, review drawings and develop high-quality graphical publications of floor plans, space classification and facility assets such as equipment, telecom and furniture
- Ability to interpret field notations, space use terminology and classifications
- Ability to apply standard symbology, blocks CAD drawing standards to all work products
- Ability to update AFM records using AFM windows, WC forms or SQL as required.
- 2-3 years of related or equivalent work experience
- Ability to work under short deadlines
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Desirable: - Experience with Building Operations/On Demand Work/Preventive Maintenance.
- Degree in CAD/CAFM, Interior Design, Architecture or Engineering is preferred
