Perform administrative duties for claim representatives and managers. Assist staff with general office procedures and problems.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
Provide administrative assistance by typing, handling telephone calls and performing other duties, as assigned.
File forms, photocopy and type, as requested.
Input data and prepare reports, process computer checks, prepare for mailing and maintain appropriate records.
Update files and close files, as requested. Prepare closed files for shipping and storage.
Maintain up-to-date files, attaching correspondence as appropriate.
Customer Service contact in order give, receive, or exchange information.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Knowledge of claim support functions and data entry, is preferred.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
Basic communication skills required to request and provide routine data and to respond to oral and written instructions.
Deals with information that is considered personal and confidential.
OTHER:
Manual Skills:
Large parts of daily assignments require motor coordination with finger dexterity, e.g. typing machine operations.
Analytical skills:
Problem solving generally defined, but may need to be clarified in order to proceed.
Requires collecting, compiling and organizing facts and figures in accordance with established procedures.
