The position description is as follows: GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: This position is responsible for the administrative aspects of all the team member benefits programs which includes, health, dental, vision, 401k, childcare, COBRA, and STD/LTD. EXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (includes, but is not limited to, the following): 1. Monitor eligibility for benefits programs and process enrollment information; 2. Input changes into the HR Information system; 3. Maintains benefits files, prepare benefits packages, process all child care claims, and COBRA administration; 4. Respond and resolves team member issues/inquiries related to all benefits; 5. Assist in Conducts individual and group benefit enrollment orientations; 6. Monitor Personnel Action Forms and daily reports to determine changes in eligibility and processes changes and terminations accordingly; 7. Responsible for all changes and enrollments for the 401(k) program; 8. Assist in reconciling monthly invoices for all benefit accounts when needed (including reconciliation to the General Ledger accounts); 9. Assist in the processing of all payroll functions when needed; 10. Attend meetings as scheduled; 11. Comply with all health and safety standards; 12. Comply with company policies, procedures, rules, regulations, and be available to work on a regular basis; 13. Ensure that Superior Guest Service levels are met according to Standard Operating Procedures; and 14. Other job-related duties as assigned. Requirements: Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Knowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements both adopted and pending affecting employee benefit programs, including ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, Section 125, COBRA, and Social Security and DOL requirements; Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information; understand and comply with all Company and departmental rules, regulations, Policies, and procedures; skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff; good organizational skills required; excellent communication skills; ability to perform basic math; read, write, and communicate verbally in English; skill in preparing and maintaining records, writing reports, and responding to correspondence; ability to interpret, adapt, and apply guidelines and procedures; Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates Degree in HR or related field preferred.
