G&K is currently hiring a Corporate Office Assistant! This is a great opportunity for an experienced Office Assistant or Administrative Assistant to join our corporate team! The hours for this position are 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday.
Essential Job Functions Include:
Receptionist Backup approximately 10 - 20 hours per week Support Freight payment process maintain master file (new set ups, deletions, location moves); code and prepare invoices for signature for payment; process twice weekly ACH file; process dedicated truck invoice Assist Executive Assistant with creating analysis reports for Sourcing Managers P-card reconciliation and coding in the CHRIS system Accounts Payable: Process invoices on a weekly basis, i.e., code, obtain signatures and prepare batches to submit to accounts payable Assist in updating information in SharePoint for all categories Serve as Office Depot and Campus Ship Administrator releasing orders, assisting users, setting up new users, deleting users Other responsibilities to include: maintain department files and library, complete weekly garment item master and back up facilities related requests from 4-5 p.m. Filing, scanning and other tasks as required as fill-in
To be successful in this position, you should possess the following education, experiences, skills and qualifications:
High School Diploma; some post secondary education preferred 2-4 plus years reception and general secretary experience with multi-line, high volume phone experience Customer service experience required Accuracy and attention to detail Exceptional oral communication skills and phone etiquette Solid written communication skills Typing-40 wpm minimum with accuracy Ability to work with all levels of management Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel.
