AmeriFlex recently opened an office in Frisco, TX, and is seeking to fill several full-time Customer Service Representative positions immediately. Schedules will be between 8:00 am - 7:00 pm Monday through Friday (no weekends and no graveyard shifts). The ideal candidates should have previous customer service experience and be proficient with web-based online systems and Microsoft Office. Must have exceptional client service skills, written and verbal communication skills. Interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills are also required. We are looking for a highly organized individual who is able to prioritize and manage time effectively. Primary duties shall be the following: * Provide initial phone contact with participants, brokers, plan administrators, and field personnel, answering inquiries where appropriate and routing calls as needed. * Gain a detailed understanding of in-house administrative systems in order to provide high quality customer service, by providing timely and accurate information to the consumer. * Respond to customer inquiries regarding balances, charges, claim denials and approvals, card denials, COBRA, and plan exclusions/exceptions * Research required information using available resources * Handle and resolve customer complaints in the best interest of the company and customer * Handle distressed callers with patience and understanding * Provide customers with product and service information * Identify and escalate priority issues * Follow up customer calls not immediately resolved * Recognize, document and alert the supervisor of trends in customer calls * Maintain compliance with HIPAA guidelines and regulations * Recommend process improvements AmeriFlex functions as an independent benefits administrator providing technology-based, consumer-driven benefits solutions to clients throughout the United States.
