Baltimore Housing (HABC) is recruiting for someone to be responsible for quality control throughout the Admissions application process within the Applications & Leasing Office. Performs specialized and responsible administrative work. Responsible for the intake of preliminary applications, data entry of preliminary applications, providing customer service to applicants on the waiting list and monitoring updates to the waiting list. Also provides other administrative assistance to Application and Leasing Manager. Performance of the duties requires knowledge of the purposes, policies, and regulations of federal housing programs, and knowledge of community/social services available locally and through local, state, and federal agencies and/or funding sources. Must also have the ability to prepare and present ideas in a clear and concise manner, both orally and in writing. Must have a BA degree in business, social service or education related field and 2 yrs exp in Public or Private Housing or business management or general administrative work including some exp in a supervisory capacity. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge and abilities maybe considered sufficient. Hiring Salary range $33,344 - $35,032 with excellent benefits to include generous leave, health, vision, prescription drug & dental plans; pension, life & disability insurance, & 50% educational assistance.
