Data/Reporting Analyst

Our client, a leader in the Energy Industry, has an immediate opening for a Data/Reporting Analyst to join their team in a contract role. 

Requirements:

Create and maintain a dashboard with project data including a weekly activity report;

  • Reconciling data between LANDesk and Miscrosoft ACT;

  • Maintain and update a Master Application List and User list;

  • Business Objects, Pyxis, Excel report reconciliation;

  • Assist in tracking business unit’s migration progress in coordination with the NGD Program;

  • Contributes to migration/integration plan development and program coordination;

  • Contribute to reporting and QA aspects of project team, as needed;

  • Perform other duties as necessary including other ad hoc reporting needs;


Requirements:



  • Familiarity with LANDesk, Business Objects, SQL, ad hoc reporting, Microsoft Active Directory, and Microsoft Application Compatibility Toolkit (ACT).

  • Ability to do data extracts and build reports in SharePoint 2007.

  • Excellent skills in MS Access and Excel, including use of VBA.

  • Good technical infrastructure design skills.

  • Ability to convey a strong presence, professional image, and deal confidently with complex technical problems.

  • Assists in solving technical and performance problems through the use of reporting.

  • Interfaces with departmental staff leaders and middle and upper management, and possibly with outside workgroups.

  • Establishes credibility at all levels with clients and builds problem-solving partnerships with clients and colleagues.

  • Able to communicate effectively through teaching and training of others, while offering mentoring and help to other team members for their project success.

  • Accuracy and attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.

  • Ability to effectively apply reporting and visualization techniques.

  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a complex, fast-paced environment.

  • High conceptual problem-solving and quantitative analytical aptitude.
