Position Summary:

Reports directly to the Chief Operating Officers, managing the corporate contracting relationships specifically Food, Retail, Patient Television Services, Guest Services and the Commitment to Excellence (C2X) engagement.


Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the overall execution of the C2X strategy medical center wide. Manages activities of the C2X service teams and enhancing communication between the teams. Serves as liaison for the Medical Center.

- Negotiates and manages business contracts and day to day business operations for Patient Television Services, Valet Company Leadership, Retail Operations within the Medical Center, C2X Initiative, Information Desk/ Reception, Visitor Badges.

- Responsible for overall management and revenue for Patient Television Services, Retail Services, and Valet Services and all associated budgeting responsibilities including establishing the annual revenue targets. Coordinate financial reporting with Finance department
- Provides Leadership and Direction to the C2X Team Leaders regarding adherence to the overall C2X strategy. Chairs the C2X Steering Committee which provides the strategic direction of C2X.

- Advises and provides feedback to the Senior Leadership Team regarding the strategic direction of C2X and the status of the journey.

- Represents the organization at various speaking engagements regarding C2X as the Medical Centers strategic engagement for building employee and patient loyalty. Serves as a liaison between Medical Center and Service Excellence Consultants.


Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Communications, Organizational Development or equivalent of ten years experience as a Manager or Director of a high volume service organization is required.

- PC skills and literacy in word processing, spreadsheet software (such as Microsoft Word and Excel).

- Strong customer excellence orientation, good interpersonal, listening, verbal and written communication skills are required to work effectively with various levels of employees and management staff. Must also possess demonstrated effective collaborative skills in working with other functions to achieve organizational objectives.

- Demonstrated ability to oversee, monitor, evaluate and motivate the performance of professional and support staff is required. A collaborative and motivational management style which is inclusive and which promotes a participatory style.
