Director, Contract Administration 1
Northrop Grumman is looking for a Director, Contract Administration for our Herndon, VA office, who will be responsible for the overall contractual posture of the Defense & Government Services Division (DGSD). Responsibilities include the supervision of Operating Unit Contract Managers; management and administration of current DGSD contract holdings; support of DGSD new business initiatives; client management and Contracting Officer interface; contract performance issue identification and resolution; and support, as necessary, to the DGSD VP&GM, DGSD functional staff, and DGSD Program Managers. Also develops and implements divisional policies and procedures in conjunction with accompanying sector policies and procedures related to the contract management operations.
Responsible for management and oversight of the overall Defense & Government Services Division (DGSD) contracts function including work planning and scheduling; performance to cost, schedule, and professional quality levels for multiple large service contracts both domestic and international. Service contracts will vary in complexity and will span all different contract types with strategic importance and potential large downstream values. Job scope includes the supervision of DGSD Operating Unit Contract Managers. Significant interface with the DGSD VP&GM, the DGSD Director Business Management, and other senior divisional representatives. Directly reports to the Sector Vice President, Contracts & Pricing.
Basic Qualifications:
-Minimum of 12 - 15 years Contracts Administration experience -BA/BS required -Must be able to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance -Must have experience managing 7-10 direct reports within Contracts -Travel required both domestically and internationally, 35-40%
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters Degree Preferred.
