Engineer Aircraft Support 1
Technicians with Aircraft/UAS technical experience and mechanical experience. Will support the Long Endurance Muti-INT Vehicle (LEMV) program. Will report to the Flght Operations LEMV Manager. Job Duties include maintenance support for the: Universal Ground Control Station, TCDL antennas, payloads, and the LEMV air vehicle. Will deploy to the middle east. Must be able to acquire a secret clearance.
Must be able to pass the pre-deployment physical.
This position requires successful completion of customer's training.
Must be able to obtain a NG Corporate Credit Card. This is a new exciting position with growth.
Must be physically able to rappel/abseil from airship, work in confined spaces, work at heights over 20 ft above ground, operate cherry picker, fork lift and bucket truck ground support equipment.
Plans, coordinates, directs, and/or performs engineering assignments involving specifications for, and design changes or alterations to, aircraft, engines, systems, components, and field or shop equipment; investigates and analyzes project requirements and operating problems and develops recommended solutions to meet company governmental safety and performance standards including Minimum Equipment List (MEL); evaluates, selects, applies, and/or adapts engineering modifications; designs or recommends new or modified parts and components; analyzes reparability of parts and components; evaluates operating data on parts, components, and systems to establish causes and to determine remedies for wear, malfunctions, or premature removals; analyzes and evaluates aircraft and associated equipment proposals; prepares technical data, procedures, reports, drawings, manuals, and other required publications.
Basic Qualifications: Bachelors in Science; or a minimum of 4 years relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications: UAS experience. OCONUS maintenance experience on unmanned/manned platforms. Airship experience is highly desired. Secret clearance desired. A&P license
desired, as well as avionics experience.
