OurHouston, Texasoffice is currently seeking aEngineering Department Managerto help win, lead and design projects in the State of Texas. Responsibilities:
* Oversee's all municipal projects including streets and drainage work, aviation, and rail projects. * Identifies and markets business opportunities with key clients. * Develops and enhances key client relationships and serve as one of the primary company contacts. * Secures and manages the profitable operation of multiple projects or mega projects * Full managerial responsibility for all aspects of the project including scope development, contract negotiations, cost control, staff management, quality control and cash management on large and multiple projects. * Actively manages HNTB budget and schedule, project communications and documentation. * Administers relevant aspects of a formal quality control program. * Coordinates work efforts and reviews work performed. * Manages and delivers quality civil transportation projects on-time, within budget and to the satisfaction of the client. Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. * Master’s Degree preferred. * 12+ years experience in the business development, design, management and implementation of highway/roadway civil engineering transportation projects. * Extensive business development and project management experience with various governmental agencies (DOT, cities, and counties). * Licensed Texas Professional Engineer (PE). * Local Candidates Highly Preferred * Apply for this job:
