Will maintain good working relationships and actively collaborate with the Pharmacist, Pharmacy Manager, and retail partner Store Manager and support staff.
Position Summary:
The Clinic Coordinator is responsible for the overall operations in a clinic with the priorities of ensuring clinical and operational excellence; achievement of company objectives related to healthcare quality, patient engagement, and financials; and assisting market leadership. The Clinic Coordinator also facilitates the staffing and scheduling of the Providers and Medical Concierges (MC) of the Clinic Coordinator's primary clinic.
The Clinic Coordinator will work as a Take Care Health Provider in the clinics delivering outstanding patient care and promoting Take Care Health Systems (TCHS) as the premier provider of quality, accessible, and convenient care. This position has a rotating work schedule to meet the staffing needs of the individual clinics.
Position Essential Functions:
Clinical Excellence
Responsible for working as a Provider clinically 60 to 80 hours per pay period in the clinics, and demonstrating scheduling flexibility, dependant on unexpected staffing needs or changes.
Willingness to share best practices and promote teamwork in the market.
Coordinates with the Market Manager and the Market Educator to ensure market compliance in areas of infection control, quality assurance, OSHA and CLIA.
Be a clinical resource within the market in the TCH scope of practice.
Be available to the Providers within the clinic for clinical consultation.
Availability to help provide education and training of TCHS colleagues as directed by market leadership.
Works with the Market Manager to ensure compliance with all clinic standard operating procedures; including federal and state regulations and guidelines, adherence to appropriate scope of practice, clinic cleanliness and appearance standards.
Participates in on-going educational needs of the market by assisting with completion of competency checklists, EMR training and orientation of new staff for their clinics.
Clinical Operations
Continuously communicates with TCHS Leadership and Providers to ensure achievement of company objectives related to healthcare quality, patient engagement, and financials
Advocates clinic services to patients, store customers, and the local community by proactive one-on-one communications, and consistently executing promotional program elements including signage, promotional codes/offers, and conducting local outreach; provides leadership to Providers on these communications.
Responsible for clinic organization and monitoring of internal clinic compliance with OSHA, CLIA, State Department of Health, federal and local regulations. .
Maintains a brand-compliant, professional environment
Maintains and updates internal clinic communication; coordinates open and efficient communication among Providers, MCs, Market Manager and retail partners; including escalation of clinic issues, needs and successes.
Participates in regularly scheduled conference calls with the Market Manager and disseminates information to the clinic colleagues.
Coordinates weekly meetings with retail partner Store Managers and Pharmacy Managers to maintain communication, discuss issues, and share information.
Creates and maintains files for off-line procedures. Ensures maintenance of adequate and non-expired medical supplies and appropriate levels of office and marketing supplies by coordinating routine inventory analysis and fiscally responsible ordering.
Creates and maintains mail boxes in the clinic for Providers, MEC, and Market Manager.
Staffing and Scheduling
Updates monthly schedules for assigned clinics by communicating with all Providers to ensure that all trades/switches are captures at the beginning of the month; works with other Clinic Coordinators to ensure that holes are filled prior to submission to the Clinic Scheduler.
Scheduling should be completed within the approved staffing clinic guidelines and timeframes.
Communicates immediate scheduling needs to Market Manager and Clinic Scheduler
Work with the Clinic Scheduler to ensure the market is staffed according to the approved staffing guidelines and recommend staffing guideline adjustments for MCs according to patient volumes.
Assistance of Market Leadership
Works in collaboration with the Market Manager and Market Educator in implementing new processes or services in the market and assists in orienting new colleagues to the clinic.
Assists in developing and mentoring of Providers to ensure competency with the EMR, portal, and other clinical systems.
Performs other duties as deemed necessary by the Market Educator, Market Manager, Regional Vice President and Chief Nurse Practitioner Officer.
Position Qualifications:
Licensure requirement for NPs:
Valid Advanced Practice State License issued by the State Board of Nursing.
Valid accreditation from the AANP or ANCC as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Valid Prescriptive Authority (per state practice requirements).
Meet and maintain all legal requirements per state and national statutes to practice within state (for your market) as a family nurse practitioner.
CPR Certification.
Preferred previous experience with Take Care Health.
Preferred minimum of two years of Family Nurse Practitioner experience delivering exceptional patient care.
Recent experience with pediatric patients (18 months and older) and adult patients.

Excellent communication skills that will enable the Clinic Coordinator to provide an informed patient experience, and promote the clinic's services within the clinics, our retail partner, and the community
