Health Care Processing Clerk - Up to 12 months, full time
We are searching for an energetic, focused data entry professional who works with speed,
accuracy and an attention to detail.
Responsibilities include:
checking, validating and inputting data from providers and suppliers;
securing missing data via screen searches and external telephone contact;
checking, validating and editing electronic billing accounts;
performing clerical duties related to the processing of accounts/mail and
performing other related duties as assigned or required.
Requirements:
knowledge of general office procedures and processes and experience with general office equipment, such a photocopier
knowledge of computer systems, in order to access and input information,experience using software applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, as well as, strong keyboarding skills
strong oral and written communication skills as well as reading skills in order to process information and instructions received, to obtain information and to prepare file notes and template correspondence
interpersonal skills to deal effectively with others and a strong commitment to and experience providing customer service excellence
knowledge of basic mathematics to complete production statistics
knowledge of medical terminology would be considered an asset
