Description
Human Resources Educational Assistance Coordinator
The Human Resources Educational Assistance Coordinator administers the Employee Educational Assistance Program for a high volume academic hospital system.
Responsibilities include: 1. Administering the Tuition Reimbursement/Continuing Education Programs, School of Nursing Professional Advancement, etc 2. Validating eligibility 3. Calling and scheduling payment plans with previous employees to meet the terms of the contract agreement.
4. Maintaining files on all participants 5. Processing reimbursements and check request payments 6. Working with the Payroll/Accounts Payable Departments on the reimbursement processing system 7. Generating reports
Qualifications: 1. High school diploma is required. An Associates Degree is preferred.
2. Two or more years of administrative support experience in a highly demanding office setting.
3. Experience with HRIS systems preferred.
4. Demonstrated excellent customer service skills with professionalism and efficiency are required.
5. Experienced working with exceptionally high volumes of work load and customer inquiries.
6. Demonstrated success in multi-tasking. This is a requirement for success and meeting the high expectations in this role.
7. Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access is required.
8. Experienced with resourcefulness in researching various documents, department information screens or other resources for problem-solving in handling telephone and in-person inquiries and various other questions/concerns/issues.
