Summary The Information Technology Department delivers superior customer experiences through the development and support of front and back office systems while focusing on IT's four core values: Partnership, Excellence, Innovation and Efficiency. Responsibilities Developing, implementing, and supporting next generation systems, architectures, and applications. * Support and maintain configuration management. * Support the business continuity strategy. * Provide daily system/application administration. * Monitor and proactively support system/application capacity planning and analysis. * Understand IT best practices around ITIL/SDLC/Agile frameworks. * Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for defined applications. * Research and evaluate alternatives in order to recommend the most efficient and cost effective solution that meets business requirements and IT standards. * Provide direction and guidance to other Application Support Analysts. * Provide management of licensing, system maintenance and equipment support. * Provide ownership and accountability for incidents related to defined applications * Ability to troubleshoot to analyze, resolve and document reported incidents. * Ability to effectively communicate with Business Units, Team Leads and IT Management to implement, support, and monitor defined applications. Qualifications * Seven years in an IT role. * Two years in a technical support role. * Some background in software development. * Proficient at creating support documentation. * Strong analytical/troubleshooting skills. * Strong communication skills. * Technical training on UNIX, Windows platform design and support. * Strong working knowledge of scripting languages and programming methodologies (mobile technologies including). * Leadership in the deployment of world-class IT infrastructure. * Ability to lead and motivate complex technical teams. * Ownership and accountability for production level issues. * Formal knowledge and practice of the Quality Process, Project Management and Agile philosophies and principles
