Lead Generation (Outbound Sales Agent) Job Description Job Summary: The Lead Generation Agent is mainly a communications position and performs telesales functions.   This position will be responsible for generating business leads and requires extensive research skills and strong outbound sales capabilities.    I n this position the agent will contact businesses and communicate to the companies representatives regarding their business needs and initiatives Job description: Responsibilities • Business-to-Business lead generation and sales prospecting • Cold calling, gathering sales intelligence, handling objections • Re-qualifying leads from events, mailers, other activities • Appointment setting • Calling mid-large size organizations on behalf of our clients • Working on a number of projects, or calling campaigns, at any given time • Respond to sales inquiries • Maintains complete and accurate records of all prospecting activity • Builds rapport and relationships with prospects through courteous and professional service • Ensures client satisfaction and wins continued business loyalty through seamless marketing practices and a proactive, customer-centric approach in attending to or resolving issues   Job Qualifications: • Preferably 1-2 years experienced employee specializing in Sales/Telesales/ Telemarketing or Outbound sales experience • Self-motivated, goal oriented, and dependable • Able to work independently, and be extremely motivated • Excellent telephone and written communication skills, attention to detail • Professional upbeat telephone voice, strong probing skills, persistence • Must have strong phone prospecting skills to have a well-structured conversation with prospects at any level • Proven track record in cold calling, sales prospecting and appointment setting • Able to handle objections and relate to users • D emonstrated track record of achieving aggressive established targets or quotas • Able to take direction and incorporate feedback into work • Field sales, recruiting or marketing experience is a plus • Basic computer skills in MS Word, Excel, email and use of the Internet • Has excellent written and oral English communication skills • Willingness and ability to work during peak hours
