Legal Admin Asst (O15)
Responsible for providing legal secretarial support to the Legal Department staff. Primary duties to include, but are not limited to: Prepares letters, memos, contracts and legal documents requiring knowledge of legal terminology and familiarity with various legal forms (e.g. pleadings, subpoenas, etc.) and other various documents. Proofreads typed materials, photocopies, and collates documents for distribution material to internal and external parties. Submits expense reports and requests checks as directed. Maintains attorneys¿ calendars and coordinates meetings and project deadlines. Establishes and maintains all department files and updates file indices. Maintains the Legal vault and updates vault indices. Receives, screens, and distributes incoming correspondence. Handles telephone calls and visitors to the department. Answers routine inquiries as appropriate within established authority limits. Tracks all incoming legal requests using contract and project trackers. Organizes labels and duplicates exhibits for lawsuits or other legal matters. May provide back-up support for executive assistants as required.

Senior Legal Administrative Assistant
Responsible for providing legal secretarial support to at least two attorneys in the Legal Department staff. Primary duties to include, but are not limited to: Prepares final legal papers and correspondence of a legal nature such as summonses, complaints, motions, and subpoenas from draft or dictated text. Assists in research and physical location of legal materials in law library publications pertinent to pending cases. Drafts routine contracts or legal agreements. May respond to interrogatories and coordinate requests between internal and external counsel. Routes articles to lawyers and other company officials. Manages calendar and assists in meeting deadlines. Coordinates meetings. Performs a wide range of clerical duties such as scheduling appointments, providing information to callers, taking dictation, composing and typing routine correspondence, and reading and routing incoming mail. Maintains filing system for correspondence and legal documents. Ensures proper indexing and filing of original legal documents. May provide project support to Legal Department and back-up support for executive assistants as required.

Requirements:
Legal Admin Asst (O15)
Requires a high school diploma; 1 year of experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Previous experience in a legal environment preferred.
OR
Legal Admin Asst Sr (O16)
Requires a high school diploma; 3-5 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Paralegal certification desired.
