Mgr Systems Engineering 1/Quality Assurance Manager
Northrop Grumman Technical Services is seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Manager to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals. The QA Manager develops, modifies, applies and maintains quality evaluation, control systems and protocols for processing materials into partially finished or finished products. Collaboration with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place is required. The candidate will have the experience to devise and implement methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment. The QA Manager designs and analyzes inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment; conducts quality assurance tests; and performs statistical analysis to assess the cost of and determine the responsibility for, products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications. The individual is responsible for auditing quality systems for deficiency identification and correction while ensuring that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements.
Basic Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in a related field along with at least 9 years experience in a related discipline, primarily Quality Assurance. The qualified candidate must have a working knowledge of the MS Office Suite and possess excellent communication skills. The applicant must be a U.S. citizen and be eligible for security clearance (Secret or higher preferred). Current DHS Clearance required.
Preferred Qualifications: Certification in lean and six-sigma quality engineering methodologies is a plus.
