Office Administrator/Operations Support

Small engineering and technology service firm has immediate opening for Administrator to manage office operations.  Candidate’s primary responsibilities include administrative and operations duties, general tasks, and specific office projects.  Some tasks include:


 



  • Serve as point person for office - answering incoming calls 
  • Complete document filing and organization
  • Draft reports and perform routine and project specific data-entry
  • Investigate and respond to employee needs and customer concerns via phone, fax, mail, and e-mail in a timely and courteous manner
  • Effectively communicate customer issues and concerns to all applicable internal staff members
  • Maintain office supplies inventory and also ensure office equipment and facility functions as needed
  • Maintain working knowledge of company service offerings and business operations
  • Assist with needed documentation for projects and internal operations
  • Coordinate company activities (onsite luncheons, offsite trade-shows, etc)
  • Serve as company representative in support of community outreach and marketing efforts
  • Act independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments
  • Maintain manager’s appointment schedule - planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, and travel
  • Compile and keep project, staff and operations-related records and/or files
  • Perform other duties as assigned 



Requirements:



  • Bachelors Degree
  • Minimum five years related experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • MUST be proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and Power Point
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills; able to manage priorities and work flow
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
  • Human Resources experience a plus
  • Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English language
  • Must have excellent follow-up skills



  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
  • Must pass criminal background check
  • Must pass credit check (Doesn’t have to be perfect)
