Examples of Work:

Answer multi-line phone, page and/or direct calls. Greet/check-in and direct visitors. Process letting packages. Process motel bills and expense vouchers. Stamp, sort and distribute incoming and out-going mail. Prepare completed projects for microfilming and verify microfilm for accuracy. Order supplies. Maintain central project files. Daily filing. Mail and distribute test results, change orders, revised plan sheets and final inspection documentation. Assist in preparation of division events, meetings, card and flower fund. Maintain and distribute magazines. Assist Research Section in compiling booklets, distributing final reports and setting up meetings through an electronic calendar system. Perform various other clerical duties.


Qualifications / Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS: Experience in performing office/clerical support or records management activities.

PREFERRED: Experience operating a multi-line phone; data entry and ensuring accuracy of records; Microsoft Word to create documents and professional correspondence; Microsoft Excel to create and implement spreadsheets for data collecting; Microsoft Powerpoint; Adobe Professional; scanning, making copies and filing; maintaining a schedule on an electronic calendar system; Outlook e-mail, tasks and calendars. Post secondary education.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Must have effective communication and customer service skills.
