Job Description

The Office Coordinator works to enhance the reputation of the providers and staff of Intermountain by creating a positive patient experience.  The Office Coordinator makes patients and customers feel welcome and at ease by providing exceptional customer service when greeting them in person or over the phone.  The Office Coordinator works with minimal supervision and provides administrative support to department staff as needed.  Every team member is vital to Intermountain’s success in providing exceptional patient care and completing these duties provides the Office Coordinator the opportunity to truly make a difference in the lives of many on a daily basis.

Entry Rate:   $12.69

Minimum Requirements

• One or more years office experience
• Must have demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Must be proficient in typing and keyboarding skills
• Communication skills both verbal and written
• Excellent interpersonal skills

Physical Requirements

• Carrying, Hearing/Listening, Lifting, Manual Dexterity, Pulling/Pushing, Seeing, Sitting, Speaking, Standing, Walking

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience using Kronos
• One or more years of GE Centricity Business (IDX) and Help2 experience
• Previous experience in accounts payable or payroll
• Previous experience in a medical office
• One or more years experience in accounting, medical billing, or scheduling
