Operations Assistant - Temp to Hire
Ultimate Staffing has partnered with a downtown Insurance Company in search of an Operations Assistant to provide General Office support for Commercial Casualty Lines including Insurance Application Tracking and Rating Support.
The Operations Assistant will be responsible for:
Printing incoming insurance applications and enter data into submission and clearing system. Set-up and maintain physical underwriting folders, create file labels and process form letters.
Providing rating support by entering data into system which calculates standard premium for each risk.
Pull and distribute folders. File correspondence and folders. Assist with archiving projects.
Date stamp, sort and distribute all incoming office mail and accept and distribute all shipments. Select least expensive carrier for outgoing mail & packages and prepare for delivery.
Answer main telephone numbers and act as office receptionist as required.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High school graduate or equivalent.
Good interpersonal, oral, written, organizational and reasoning skills. Must be detail oriented.
Must have good word processing computer skills with demonstrated high accuracy output.
