Description
Reporting directly to the Controller, this part-time position is responsible for processing commission reports and payroll monthly, while maintaining standards of confidentiality at all times. The primary objective of this position is to establish a standard of excellence in collecting data and processing payroll in a timely manner with no errors. This is a part-time position working approximately two weeks per month starting at the beginning of each month.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Accounting
Collect net sales, monthly adjustments and A/R aging reports from client stations, then calculate monthly sales rep and manager commissions.
Submit payroll semi-monthly via the web.
Other
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in accounting or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
3+ years of experience in business accounting.
Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse groups of individuals.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong MS Excel spreadsheet skills.
High attention to detail.
