Part-time Rental House Technician
dvDepot is a Camera, Lighting, and Audio Rental House located in NYC. We are looking for a Part-Time Rental Tech. This is an entry level part-time position, two to three days a week, days will be discussed. We are looking for knowledgeable graduates from a tech school, who know camera, lighting and sound.
MUST have the following qualifications:
- knowledge of various camera formats, settings and specs - knowledge of camera, audio, and lighting equipment - excellent customer service skills - strong organizational and communication skills - detail oriented and clean - great multitasking skills and ability to work in fast-paced environment - responsible and self-driven - willingness to learn and grow together with the company - positive attitude - live in or close to NYC and have reliable transportation.
The Rental Tech is a PT position responsible for prepping and testing cameras and accessories for rental packages. This person will work directly with the supervisor entering the customers' rental order into the computer to become a contract. Other duties will be to work directly with the crew and fine tuning equipment to meet the needs of the client. As well as testing all returning equipment and qualify its operational status by filling out appropriate paperwork and prep all damaged items for repair. Ideal candidate will have prior experience working with Camera and Support equipment for Film, Television and Presentation.
