Join us as a PT Teller 

 
  
Bank of Oklahoma has an immediate opening for a PT Teller at our Quail Creek Branch located at 11300 N May Avenue.  The candidate will need to have flexibility to work the hours of Monday - Friday 1:00 PM-6:15 PM and alternating Saturdays from 8:45 AM to 1:00 PM.

 

The Teller is primarily responsible for providing the highest form of client service by consistently identifying opportunities to generate referrals while performing routine teller transactions such as receipt, disbursement, and recording of monies while maintaining service standards and transaction responsibilities.


Responsibilities:
Receives and processes checking and savings account deposits; provides customers with transaction records; provides customer with account balances; accepts loan payments, completed check orders and safe deposit payments; redeems U.S. Savings Bonds; validates items by entering through teller hes checks and processes checking and savings account withdrawals within prescribed cash ets customers and establishes a quality customer service environment; answers questions and suggests appropriate actions to meet the customer's banking ntifies opportunities to refer bank products/services to new and existing customers by identifying problems, needs and opportunities; identifies customers needs and refers to the appropriate line of business. Processes fee income entries for money orders, cashiers checks, travelers checks, check cashing, etc. to generate fee income for the branch.  Balances and reports teller transactions daily, in accordance with standard procedures.
Qualifications:
Basic sales knowledgeGood math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)  Ability to count and make accurate change transactionsGood communication skills; ability to gain information from individuals/customers by  asking appropriate questions3+ months PC experience; 10 key skillsGood customer service skills both in person and via telephoneMust pass TAP (a teller assessment test) with a minimum score of 70 

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of high school and a minimum of 6 months cash handling experience, or equivalent combination of work experience/education which may include accounting, balancing, budgeting, bookkeeping, business management, or customer service.
