Job Description
The role of the Patient Service Representative (PSR) is to provide extraordinary care to patients and customers through friendly, caring, courteous, and professional services. Scans posting back up for cash posting team to enable clinics and Business offices easy access to posting back up for the purpose of researching accounts, billing secondary insurances, audits, etc. Further responsibility in assisting claims processors in mailing out claims, doing research on correspondence to be forwarded to business offices, etc. Timely scanning of payment posting batches for timely reconciliation of patient accounts and processing of claims for billing.
Entry Rate: $10.62 Benefits Eligible: Yes Shift Details: Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm Department: Lake Park
Minimum Requirements
Good communication skills
Data entry skills
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of medical terminology
One or more years of customer service experience.
Able to type/keyboard 30 wpm.
Experience using Billing software
Able to operate a Ten-Key calculator by touch.
