Customer Service Specialist (With Top Secret Clearance)

Project
Parsons is providing facilities management, operations and maintenance, site and space use planning, environmental compliance, engineering, security, emergency management, freight and vehicle management, and custodial care for a secure agency within the Department of Defense (DoD). This is a restricted access facility, and employees will be required to have a current DoD Top Secret (TS) clearance with ability to obtain SCI access.
JOB FUNCTION: Receive, triage, dispatch and trackcustomer service calls and work rder requests over the phone, fax, unclassified and classified networks and in person. Enter and retrieve information from the automated work management and tracking system (MAXIMO), and/or on manual logs.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: As a Customer Service Specialist, one must be able to:
* Handle all inbound and outbound calls in an articulate, professional, customer focused manner. * Receive and create service/work requests using MAXIMO database. * Work with other team members to ensure requests are distributed and addressed. * Research, review and complete all requests. * Use two-way radio communications to dispatch response to emergency and routine requests for service. * Assemble, format and/or author routine correspondences, reports, forms and memorandums from various files or a rough drafts format. * Maintain electronic and manual data, files and resources. * Proficient in the use of computers and computer software for recording, modifying, tracking and displaying data, development of charts and graphs, and for word processing. * Support and contribute to company safety guidelines and regulations. * Perform other job-related duties, as assigned.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Customer service experience with direct customer or client contact. * MAXIMO experience, desired. * Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal with others in a positive, customer focused manner. * Ability to adapt to frequent change and a fast -paced work environment. * Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
* High School diploma or equivalent. * US citizenship and TS/SCI clearance required * Formal or informal education or training which ensures the ability to read and write at a level necessary for successful job performance. * Computer Skills-Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
