Join us as a Research Clerk
Bank of Oklahoma has an immediate opening for a Research Clerk in Tulsa. The Research Clerk is primarily responsible for providing extensive research of microfilm, check imaging systems and pre-conversion optical systems. After receiving requests from both internal and external customers through the Pega SmartAdjust system along with subpoena requests from the Subpoena Coordinator, the requests are completed and sent via fax, interoffice or mail.
Responsibilities:
Researches microfilm, AFS and pre-conversion systems for checks, statements and deposits for all departments of the bank; reconstructs lost statements and items for internal and external customers. Performs all research on microfilm, AFS and pre-conversion systems for all government agencies and legal requests the bank and/or our customers are involved in; scans completed subpoena requests for archival purposes. Utilizes Synergy (full and detail masters, cash letter listings and master indexes), AFS, microfilm and pre-conversion systems for statement and check copy earches numerous optical systems from acquisitions in order to retrieve various types of information for both internal and externals forms relief duties for other research clerks during leaves of absence; trains new research clerks and other employees in the use of equipment and research procedures; assists departments in locating items. Maintains records of microfilm, imaging and pre-conversion look-ups for charges. Determines and prepares customer charges and performs account analysis charges on-line. Provides older research for adjustment requests to resolve encoding errors (debit & credit), missing deposits, cash letter adjustments, etc.
Qualifications:
This level of knowledge is normally acquired through the completion of high school and 12+ months experience in bank operations.
Basic knowledge of microfilm/microfiche equipment Basic math skills Good typing skills Excellent PC and software application skillsExcellent oral and written communications skills, including proper telephone etiquetteAbility to maintain high level of confidentiality
