Senior Administrative Assistant

A global chemical player, Arkema consists of three coherent and related business segments: Vinyl Products, Industrial Chemicals, and Performance Products. This position reports to the Business Director and supports the entire North America Business Team. Responsible for providing support to the Business Director and other members of the Business team. Duties include but are not limited to administrative management (calendar, scheduling, record keeping, etc), development and generation of weekly and monthly reports, and executive presentations. Must exercise discretion and independent judgment while performing all duties.

* Manages calendars, travel, expense reporting, schedules and correspondence.
* Plans and manages meetings and events, coordinating all aspects for attendees, logistics and budget.
* Compiles, manages, distributes and retains records for weekly/monthly reporting, confidential correspondence and other complex documentation (ie: contracts, legal correspondence, etc)
* Supports yearly Planning and Budgeting
* Performs other administrative duties (ie; order supplies, IT/infrastructure supoort requisitions, etc)

* HS diploma required; Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
* Minimum 10 years administrative experience with 4+ years in a Business Unit administrative role, supporting 3 or more individuals

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required:
* Must be able to work independently and with a Team
* Must be able to multi-task and prioritize needs of multiple individuals to ensure all needs are met
* Ability to support multiple individuals with different roles and management styles
* Knowledge of business systems (both PC based and SAP) is expected and mandatory
* Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills
* Strong communication skills and ability to influence without formal authority
