Senior Director of Quality Management Services
The University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS) is a private, nonprofit organization with a multi-hospital system with academic, community and specialty service missions reaching every part of the state and beyond. With our 11 Hospital System, we generate nearly $3.5 billion in economic activity in Maryland with over 15,000 employees, approximately 2,300 licensed beds and 115,000 annual patient admissions.
We are currently building the foundation for forming our System Quality Management Services team. Our primary focus is on a Senior Director of Quality Management Services to begin building our team with a Performance Improvement Specialist and a Safety Specialist.
The Senior Director of Quality Management Services will direct quality management services operations and determines strategic quality and performance activities for UMMS. Establishes goals, objectives and performance standards; develops and implements policies and procedures. Interprets and ensures compliance with UMMS policies, quality standards, regulations and codes. Our successful candidate will be degreed with ten (10) year's of related quality experience and a demonstrated track record of success as a Quality Management Director for a large Academic Medical Center or multi-hospital system.
