Job Description
As a part of the U.S. Region I.V. Solutions marketing team, position includes working closely with customers (hospital and Alternate Site), sales, global Fluid Systems Franchise, R&D, regulatory, business planning and customer service teams. Develop and execute the operating, strategic and marketing plans for the business utilizing the Marketing Powerhouse (MPH) process. Lead efforts to execute on brand positioning, market expansion and penetration of new product platform and successfully launch new product in target market segments. Responsibilities include:
•Develop detailed value propositions, positioning and pricing strategies for existing products and new product platform.
•Define and execute research to understand competitive capabilities, customer trends and customer unmet needs.
•Provide continuing market surveillance and management of established IV Solutions portfolio..
•Build fundamental business models that will be used for business forecasting.
•Participate with cross-functional team to successfully commercialize product development activities and identify new opportunities.
•Identify potential areas/products for cost reduction and develop creative approaches and communication plans regarding product line rationalization.
Job Requirements
•Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
•5-7 years of strong marketing experience, healthcare or pharmaceutical marketing a plus. Candidates with pharmaceutical or healthcare marketing experience will be considered above all other candidates.
•Direct experience in managing and launching a major healthcare/pharmaceutical product a definite plus.
•Experience with defining market research objectives, pricing, customer advocacy, creative product/program development, messaging and branding.
•Must have the demonstrated ability to combine business / marketing skills with innovative thinking in order to achieve results.
•Must have strong skill sets in relation to strategic thinking, project management, consensus building, people management, written and oral communication, data analysis, and balancing competing priorities.
•Demonstrated ability to manage franchise and / implement strategic marketing plan.
