Develops and maintains comprehensive integrated master project schedules including Front-end Loading, Detail Design, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning/ Start-up Project Stages.
Develops project Baseline schedule, and retains for variance analyses.
Maintains integrated schedule during the project life cycle monitoring progress and incorporating modifications where changes in the original scope occur or delays are encountered.
Utilizes project cost estimates to resource load project schedules and gain alignment with estimated scope of work and the project schedule.
Performs staffing density checks or staffing limitation checks to validate schedule durations. Performs critical path analyses to determine problem areas in regards to project schedule and resource overloads, alerting the project team to critical scheduling issues.
Evaluates project deviations to assess schedule impact for proper decision making.
Works with cost management to gain alignment when forecasting schedule completion dates.
Monthly Reporting and interface with contractors and project management. Identifies critical schedule issues and recommends corrective action.
Prepares schedule-related portions of monthly reports.
Participates in external benchmarking reviews as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
Requires thorough knowledge of scheduling best practices, principles and techniques acquired during a minimum of 5 years progressive experience in the Planning/Scheduling discipline.
Requires excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and must be proficient in Excel.
Proficiency of Primavera software P3 and P6 aka P3e/c.
