Senior Contract Analyst - Purchased Services
This position is responsible for comparative financial analysis; working with vendors to obtain/validate cross-reference and price information; design and generation of compliance metrics and reporting to UMMS facilities; and benchmarking and/or trending utilization across the system.
This position works in conjunction with the Contract Administrators throughout the contract process as well as provides analytical support to hospital materials managers and CFOs. Through proficient knowledge of the PMM materials management module, Microsoft Excel and Access, The individual in this position is responsible for maintaining the integrity, consistency and availability of decision support tools.
Education and Experience: 1. Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field.
2. Two or more years of experience with providing financial analysis, benchmarking and decision support systems.
3. Experience in purchasing or supply chain management preferred.
4. Working knowledge of the operational component of financial measures and financial performance and analysis in a complex organization.
5. Experience and knowledge of current financial and non-financial measures utilized in the healthcare industry preferred.
6. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required: - Decision Support - Financial Analysis - PMM System Knowledge - Business Software Applications (Access/Excel/ etc.) - Statistical Analysis - Dissemination of Data to Customers - Financial Reporting - Medical products - Benchmarking
