Successful candidate must be well versed with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Excel, and Word. This position requires a high degree of interaction with all levels throughout the organization. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: -Primarily schedule for states in the western region including Washington, Nevada, California, Arizona, Idaho, Wyoming, Utah and Alaska.
-Cover scheduling for the eastern region when needed.
-Use Microsoft Outlook calendars to schedule cases and Excel to assign and track Confimation numbers.
-Maintain a professional relationship with various doctors? schedulers and hospital surgery schedulers.
-Take all incoming scheduling calls from doctors? offices and facilities. These calls may regard case availability, changing the status of a case (time, rescheduling, cancelling, procedure), questions about scheduling, or scheduling a new case.
-Take incoming calls from employees regarding cases, scheduling, and various issues that may affect the schedule.
-Be proactive to provide a solution when issues arise (equipment failure, delayed cases, etc). Discuss issue with the Operations Director, Lead Scheduler and other operations personnel when needed.
-Schedule PMs (Preventative Maintenance) with the Bio-Meds, techs, and facilities when needed.
-Schedule Physicist Inspections with the inspector, techs, and facilities when needed.
-Assist in Training new employees on scheduling functions when required
-Plan and coordinate Travel (flights, hotel, car rentals) for 10-15 employees on a weekly basis.
