Administrative Assistant Central Power Systems & Services, Inc. (a nationally known and respected leader in diesel generators, engine and transmission sales, repair and maintenance) has an immediate opening for a Coporate Operations Assistant at our headquarters in Liberty, MO. Are you very experienced with Excel, Word and other MS Office products? Are you enthusiastic, a fast learning self-starter and wanting to make your mark in a growing field with a nationally known and respected company? Do you have prior clerical experience? Do you have excellent customer service and communications skills, and want to make your mark in a growing company? If you answered yes to these n we want to talk to you! Description: Assists corporate Operations Managers with Excel spreadsheets, product ordering, etc. Greets vendors, job applicants and other visitors and assures that they are escorted to the proper office. Operates multiple call telephone switchboard console, screens calls as requested and routes calls to the appropriate person and location, or takes telephone messages. Maintains pertinent telephone and visitor records. Responsible for company mail function to include receipt, internal distribution, preparation and/or assistance with outside distribution to include courier services. Qualifications: High school degree or equivalent, and course work in office procedures and typing Two or more years of direct customer contact experience in an administrative support or clerical role preferred Must have excellent Excel, oral and written communication skills, along with strong customer service skills Experience in the use of multi-line telephone systems Ability to multi-task, plan and prioritize job responsibilities Knowledge and proficiency with MS Office programs and modern office methods, practices, procedures and equipment such as: Word, Excel, Internet, E-mail, Fax machines, copiers, etc We offer a very strong base wage and a full benefit package including FREE MEDICAL insurance, FREE LIFE insurance, paid vacation, profit sharing and 401(k).
