Description: Essential Function To translate documents efficiently and accurately from Japanese to English and English to Japanese.
Key Accountabilities [List technical capabilities defined by the function/role and delete this line] ' To accurately translate source text and ensure the meaning of document is maintained and not lost in translation ' Use specialist dictionaries, theasaurus' and reference documents to ensure accurate translation ' Research technical and scientific phraseology to find the correct translation of complex information ' Liaise with internal stakeholders and SMEs to ensure a clear understanding of their requirements ' Gain, maintain and develop knowledge in the area of Clinical Research to ensure a good understanding of document content ' Accurately proof read and edit own work and that of others within the translation group ' Maintain a positive, results orientated work environment, building partnerships and modeling teamwork, communicating to the team in an open, balanced and objective manner ' Participate in formal staff review processes e.g. performance and salary reviews to corporate standards and timescales.
