Web Analyst - Global eCommerce (Sports Management/Finance/Admin)
Our Global eCommerce Group is looking for a new Web Analyst that will play a critical role in improving the business and user experience through the analysis of consumer, marketing, and site activity. This role goes beyond reporting of what has happened to making data-based recommendations that inform future business direction.
Key Accountabilities:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand relevant goals, targets, and KPIs. Deliver analysis, insights, and recommendations to support enhancements to site usability, content, marketing, and the overall customer experience.
Define and manage research and analysis programs to create data-driven insights about consumer behavior, traffic patterns, , conversion funnel, navigation and product selection.
Create reports and dashboards to support business objectives. Train and support business users to empower them to make data-driven decisions.
Support Global Web Analytics Manager in expanding international measurement framework
Create pre- and post- analyses to support, projects, A/B testing, marketing programs. Demonstrate impact on key KPIs and provide follow-up recommendations.
Share global insights with regional business analytics and user experience teams.
Analyze third party data and industry research to establish and report on benchmarks and identify relevant emerging trends.
Coordinate A/B and MVT-testing activities and identify gaps in data capture.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Excellent project management skills, including the ability to work on several projects simultaneously on a global level
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assemble and interpret data, create executive summaries and deliver business insights
Excellent problem solving skills - able to identify, analyze and propose solutions to various technical and business issues
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to internal and external clients and vendors, both orally and in writing
The ability to understand and explain complex issues, but also clearly identify and communicate the situation at a high level
Strong MS office skills, with an emphasis on Excel
Action-oriented with the ability to multi-task and discern priorities
Understands and can calculate retail math and ecommerce key performance indicators
A passion for delivering data-based recommendations for quantifiable improvements in business results and consumer satisfaction.
Functional knowledge of eCommerce content, search engine optimization, search engine marketing, user experience, analytics and core eCommerce capabilities
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or quantitative field and a minimum of 2 years of experience in eCommerce business intelligence environment - preferably in apparel or footwear retail. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
Hand-on experience in enterprise web analytics and web analytics tools such as Coremetrics, Omniture, or Webtrends.
Experience with Coremetrics preferred.
Experience with AB and Multi-variate testing tools preferred (eg. Sitespect, Test & Target)
Experience with Voice of Customer tools preferred (eg. Foresee, OpinionLab)
