  • The Opportunity

    Delaware North Sportservice is searching for a full-time Accounting Clerk to join our team at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington. As an Accounting Assistant, you will be responsible for completing payments and controlling expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices. You will also collaborate with team members to prepare weekly and monthly operating results.

    $29.00 - $31.00 / hour

    Responsibilities

    • Generate client invoicing for all Catering and Suites daily events.

    • Research backup documentation, including sales reports and BEO's for all client invoices and provide to the client with daily invoice.

    • Research and provideadditional backup to client as needed.

    • Run Aging Report.

    • Monitor the Accounting general email.

    • Process customer refund requests.

    • Follow up on outstanding A/R collections with client and review with AccountingManagement weekly.

    • Systems maintenance and statisticaldata entry.

    • Crosstrain in A/P system and assist as needed.

    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Must be at least 18 yearsof age.

    • At least one year of accounting experienceis required. Two + years is preferred.

    • Ability to work on site. This is not a remote position.

    • Skills demonstrating critical thinking, collaboration, and confidence with specialized software platforms are highly preferred.

    • Prior Accounts Receivable experience preferred.

    • Prior General Ledger experience preferred.

    • Financial analysis skills are preferred.

    • Proficient with Microsoft Office product.Intermediate Excel knowledge is a must.

    • Excellent communication skills (Oral & Written)are required.

    • Excellent organizational& timeskills managementare required.

    • Excellent attention to detailis required.
