Accounting Manager/Supervisor

Description

Robert Half is working with a client seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations in two locations for their Pacific Northwest Division. In this pivotal role, you'll leverage your financial acumen to analyze complex data, providing strategic insights that drive operational improvements and boost profitability. Based out of our Tukwila, WA location, you'll collaborate closely with management teams, serving as a trusted advisor on all financial matters. This is a permanent, direct-hire opportunity and requires a full-time, on-site schedule.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Provide comprehensive financial support to the management team

• Analyze and interpret financial and operational data for strategic decision-making

• Collaborate with Regional and Area General Managers to drive financial performance

• Lead budgeting processes and provide detailed variance analysis

• Manage special projects, ensuring timely and accurate results

• Deliver executive-level analysis and recommendations

• Serve as the go-to resource for financial inquiries and analysis

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings

• Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures

Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $110,000-$130,000 annually. Benefits offered for this position include Medical/Dental/Vision insurances, ST/LT Disability and Life insurances, 401k w/ a match, 3 weeks of PTO in the first year, and more!

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business preferred, but not required.

• Minimum of five years of relevant experience

• Comprehensive knowledge of Job Cost

• Proven knowledge of internal audit

• Budgeting & forecasting experience

• Foundational knowledge in government contracts (prevailing wage, certified payroll, etc.)

• Financial reporting experience highly desired

• Strong familiarity with month end closings

• Proficiency in the full accounting cycle

• Ability to simplify complex problems and build solutions

• Demonstrated technology and analytical abilities
