  • POSITION SUMMARY

    The Accounting Representative is responsible for timely invoice processing and delivery for all Global Forwarding mode shipments along with validating accurate load level profit. The Accounting Representative will own invoicing processing and distribution of invoices to all assigned clients. In addition, they will collaborate with and assist Global Forwarding Agents, Account Managers and Sales Executives with customer financial inquiries and issue resolution.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:

    • Responsible for accurate profitability and timely invoice distribution for all customers

    • Coordinate with operations and sales teams to resolve issues and/or discrepancies

    • Adherence to all customer SOP's for invoice distribution

    • Maintain good organization and follow up

    • Understand Global Forwarding financial process to ensure accurate and timely final invoice dispersal

    • Assist the corporate accounts receivable team with requests for additional information/back up

    • Utilize available technology and resources to work most efficiently

    • Provide exceptional service to all customers, internal and external

    • Ensure proper communication channels are adhered to in the event a customer invoice needs to be revised or an additional invoice needs to be issued

    • Other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or country specific requirements

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Required:

    • High school diploma or GED

    • Good financial acumen

    • Strong communication skills

    • Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven office environment

    • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

    • Highly organized and detail oriented

    • Excellent problem-solving skills

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs

    Preferred:

    • Two years previous sales and/or account management experience
