Accounting Specialist

Description

Robert Half has an exceptional contract opportunity for an Accounting Specialist to join the team at a recognized company in Minneapolis. Matching and batching code, processing expense reports, cash receipts, ACH payments, depositing checks, and resolving A/P issues are just a few of the responsibilities of the Accounting Specialist. Requirements

Your responsibilities in this role

• Verify, log and mail checks, including expediting special handling

• Ensure invoices, checks, and other documents are properly sorted, logged, photocopied, and filed

• Accurately execute daily processes and controls in a timely manner while ensuring Company policies are followed

• Handle daily department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it

• Carry out additional tasks as assigned

• Provide customer service to internal business partners

• Help with internal and external audits as required

• Support the AP/AR/Finance Department by completing administrative and clericals tasks
