Accounts Payable Analyst

Description Robert Half has a current opening for an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk. Located in Perry, Georgia, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a short-term contract / temporary to hire opening. Further career growth and quick advancement is possible in this dynamic department. The Accounts Payable Clerk responsibilities will include matching and batching code invoices, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, and processing checks.

What you get to do every single day

• Execute full-cycle A/P

• Manage department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it on a daily basis

• Sort, register, scan, and store invoices, checks, and other documents

• Provide internal and external audit assistance as required

• Carry out daily processes and controls accurately and on time, and ensure compliance with company policies

• Manage customer service tasks for internal business partners

• Assist the AP/Finance Department with administrative tasks

• Verify, log and mail checks, including expediting special handling

• Carry out additional tasks as assigned Requirements - Accounts Payable (AP) experience preferred

• Oracle experience

• AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

• Articulate customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds

• Strong attention to detail

• 3+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred

• Ability to work within spreadsheets and databases
