  • The AP Associate will undertake tasks such as data entry, generating daily reports utilizing pivot tables and VLOOKUPs, and handling invoice processing to support the Accounts Payable team.

    Responsibilities:

    • Analyze database reports and support with the translation to Excel spreadsheets, and accounting software.

    • Ensure all documents and data are accurate and complete for the AR Manager to solidify.

    • Retain and oversee that all data quality and consistency is correct.

    • Quality check payment discrepancies with outside clients and review error reports.

    • Able to instruct and guide AR team on multiple systems to research any issues within the processes.

    • Investigate customer chargebacks, while obtaining proper information and correct review for the manager.

    • Assist the Inventory, Accounts Payable, Customer Service departments as needed.

    • Maintain respective month-end closing and year-end closing functions for accounts receivable.

    • Ad hoc projects and working on all AR functions as needed.

    Qualifications:

    • College degree not required but a PLUS (Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business)

    • Microsoft Excel - Pivot Tables & VLOOKUPS, required

    • Experience with large volume of manual work

    • Basic understanding of SAP, strongly preferred

    • Able to communicate cross functionally with different departments

    • Entrepreneurial spirit, attention to detail, quick learner
