Accounts Payable Clerk

Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Accounts Payable Clerk in Austin, Texas. The primary function of this role entails handling account reconciliation, processing check runs, coding invoices, and executing data entry tasks. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity in the telecom industry.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate account reconciliation on a regular basis to ensure all financial data is accurate

• Efficiently process check runs to ensure timely payments

• Code invoices accurately to reflect the correct cost allocation

• Execute data entry tasks for all invoices to ensure timely and accurate record-keeping

• Use Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various accounts payable tasks

• Ensure timely processing of invoices to avoid any possible delays or discrepancies

• Maintain a detailed and organized record of all payable accounts

• Resolve any arising inquiries or issues related to accounts payable

• Collaborate with the team to improve and streamline the accounts payable process

• Adhere to all company procedures and policies regarding accounts payable.

Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or in a similar role

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience with Check Runs and Coding Invoices

• Proficient in Data Entry and Invoice Processing

• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred
