Accounts Payable

Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Specialist. The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for accurately processing invoices, reconciling accounts payable transactions, and ensuring timely payments to vendors. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently.

• Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents.

• Review and verify invoice coding and approvals.

• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies.

• Prepare and process electronic payments, including checks, ACH transfers, and wire transfers.

• Communicate with vendors regarding invoice discrepancies or payment inquiries.

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records.

• Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation to auditors.

• Stay up-to-date on accounts payable processes and best practices.

Requirements

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• 1-3 years of experience in accounts payable or related field.

• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

• Knowledge of accounts payable processes and best practices.
