Accounts Payable Manager

Description

Fast-growing firm is hiring for an Accounts Payable Manager. The Accounts Payable Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing a large accounts payable team, ensuring accountability and communication in the team.

• The team will be processing all full-cycle accounts payable tasks, including invoice coding, inputting into the financial system, and processing payments.

• Reconciling accounts on a regular basis to ensure accuracy of financial records.

• Implementing process improvements related to daily financial processing and technology advancements to increase efficiency and accuracy.

• Guiding, mentoring, coaching and developing team members to enhance individual performance and team productivity.

• Reviewing and updating departmental policies and procedures for optimal performance.

• Coordinating with external vendors and maintaining healthy relationships to ensure efficient and timely payments.

• Identifying discrepancies or issues in payment processing and resolving them in a timely manner.

• Preparing financial reports and statements related to accounts payable.

• Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

• Managing and coordinating period end closing processes related to accounts payable.

• Participating in and leading financial audit processes.

Experience in Mergers and Acquisitions is a plus.

Bachelor's degree preferred
